The “letters“ seem to develop by chance on an ordinary day, during an ordinary period… yet the rhythm, the strength and the energy permeating me make me realise that really the letters are only waiting to be used: the sensation is strong, sometimes overwhelming.
The alphabet is very straight-lined, it reveals a series of anxieties and fears that dwell somewhere inside me… It is the feeling that the letter project is a kind of therapy to me that can somehow help me to find an important thread of creative continuity in this chapter of my life. As I have already said, I feel the rhythm and the breath, I very clearly feel an absolutely positive and drifting power towards a strong and clear change…
Out of this consideration evolve:
The letters belong to the thought, are part of the thoughts, they mist, become deformed, extend and bend under the weight of our being… sometimes when they pass our thoughts they are simply scratched… sometimes with irreparable damage. They extend until they break, until they become deformed, in a continuous and endless swirl of mazy and never identical moments.

This is what is left of a thought… an unshaped bulk of letters which used to have a complete meaning. Nowadays letters are taken out of context and do not have any more well-defined structure of their own and drop out of exhaustion. The idea that unfortunately all too often the thought ages and dies… thought is life. And when it is not built up properly by actions then thought gets lost in time.

Suicidio di lettere (Suicidal Letters)
A history of illusions, a history lived with the clear sensation that the objects “created” are not the results of “said” objects. The scarce of clarity turns letters suicidal… without rethinking… it gives the letters a disbelief in the possibility of “saying and doing”, without colliding and without significantly altering their own essence. It is a journey – the journey of the letters that begins in the consciousness of dreams and ends in a tangled clew where they pile together with other faint letters.
